Haim - The Simplistic Music Video

Hello guys and welcome back to another blog. I am going to be talking about something a little different today. Rather then another makeup blog I thought I would talk about how effective simple music videos can be! Now there are a group of sisters who are famous for their simplistic music videos - Haim. If you haven't heard of them then you really need add them to your Spotify playlist IMMEDIATELY! But anyways Haim are an American pop punk girl band made up of Este Haim (bass guitar and vocals), Danielle Haim (vocals and guitar) and Alana Haim (guitars, keyboards, and vocals). Starting out in 2007, the band have already got 3 studio albums, 5 EPs, 13 singles, 13 music videos and a net worth of roughly $5 million! Plus all their music videos have at least 10 million views each!

But what makes them different to other music videos? Well for starters they don't wear crazy costumes, cheesy set designs and a sappy person crying over a break up. Even though some of their songs are about being heartbroken but in fact they’re a realistic example of what happens during a frustrating relationship or bitter break up. You struggle to get out of bed in the morning and then it slowly gets easier. This is not a bash at music videos that choose to do this by the way.

It is almost as if the music speaks for itself rather than creating dramatic gimmicks to sell the song. The song should sell for itself. Haim’s videos are very encouraging for a new production company because it proves that you can create something impressive and successful as Haim’s videos without a ridiculously huge budget! It is all about the music at the end of the day.
